An excerpt of my Speech on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti's celebration dated October 2nd 2019. Read and Share !

 

व्यक्ति अपने विचारों से निर्मित प्राणी है, वह जो सोचता है वही बन जाता हैं। - Mahatma Gandhi

Mohandas Karamchandra Gandhi or  Bapu  was the embodiment of so many virtues and really an icon of humanity. Once he said - एक विनम्र तरीके से, आप दुनिया को हिला सकते हैं।

Born on 2^nd October 1869 in Porbandar he went on to become the most loved personality in India even till today.

He also acted upon what  he taught to the countrymen. He sacrificed his life to get this country free from the Shackles of Slavery .He always emphasised on non violence' equality' untouchability' cleanliness and the purity of thoughts.

His words:

आँख के बदले में आँख पूरे विश्व को अँधा बना देगी। are still relevant towards prevailing peace.

Gandhian thoughts and ideology  is still intact but unfortunately is being sent into oblivion by those who are the supporter terrorism and supporter of the assassinator of Mahatma Gandhi.So the secular character of constitution' equality and brotherhood should be intact and retained. It should not let go in the state of lurch.

According to Bapu,

किसी देश की संस्कृति लोगों के दिलों में और आत्मा में निवास करती हैं।

Therefore it is needed to retain all the virtues of Mahatma Gandhi so that every citizen of this country could enjoy justice , dignity and freedom of expression.

The Gandhian thoughts assume appealling not only in India but in South Africa and many other countries as well.

Lastly I would like to mention one of  his inspiring thought that-

जब मैं निराश होता हूँ, मैं याद कर लेता हूँ कि समस्त इतिहास के दौरान सत्य और प्रेम के मार्ग की ही हमेशा विजय होती हैं। कितने ही तानाशाह और हत्यारे हुए हैं, और कुछ समय के लिए वो अजेय लग सकते हैं, लेकिन अंत में उनका पतन होता हैं। इसके बारे में हमेशा सोचो।

He was really a messenger  of harmony and peace.

We pay our heartily tribute and homage to this great  icon of peace and non violence.
